This Earls song that I recorded on the Zoom R8. The Banjo is Fred McFalls' prewar TB2 converted to 5 string. I recorded it so that some of the hangout members could hear this banjo. This model had a diamond flange and shoe bracket arrangement with 22 brackets. It is a good sounding one. It was one of his favorite isntruments. The picture of this banjo is in my photos. The guitar is my Martin HD282R and the bass is an electric Peavy. I really appreciate bass players as they have to have a lot wait a while between notes compared to the banjo.

Reloaded Oct 22 2011. Tried to loosen up the fingers from the other night down in the Man Cave. I tried to make it sound like John Henry was in that constest against the steam drill, hitting that nine pound hammer against the hand held star drill.

Recorded this song using a Zoom R8, Gibson RB800 with Huber Tone Ring, Peavy Bass, Martin HD282R, and my Wechter Reso Guitar. Thought I was going to do a guitar break but decided to try out the reso. What a ride! I laughed when this was over.
