Well, I just joined a songwriter's group here on the Hangout. I had no intention of sharing these recordings I did in the early summer. But, what the heck!? Not very traditional, however there are elements of roots music in there along with my other loves, such as: surf, blues, folk-rock, alt-country. I write lyrics time to time, always have since I was a teenager. Here's my contribution for those curious about other's original material.

Here's one of my favorite Bill Monroe songs. All instruments and vocals are my fault. Guitar - Mandolin - Banjo - Bass (played on my acoustic guitar) and three vocal tracks in total. Two of them just back up on the chorus. Hope you enjoy!

Guitar - Banjo I just love playing this one, I play it every time I pick up the banjo. I learned it from watching Don Borchelt and Ed Britt playing in Harvard Square, unfortunately, not in person but here on the Hangout. So go check it out!
