This is awful but historic. I have the music notation only and have taught myself the notes you hear. I just started on it a few days ago and find that reading music notation is possible, even for an old dog like me. Stay tuned, I'll keep at it.I am tabbing it as I go.

Here is the results of about an hour playing aroung, complete with mistakes and all. Over The Rainbow, I made the tab from a .midi file of it. It all makes me happy.

Is it better, maybe not, but I just keep plunking away at it. I have changed my MB and sound card and the recorded sound is now different than before. I'm still looking for the best mic spot and volume.

I have re written the this to match the 1927 version that Boggs plays, within a few notes. Now I am sort of relearning it again. As always played bare fingered. :-)

Did an oop's at the start, oh well. This is with my modified open back with Nylgut strings, 5star head and with picks. It also now has my home made walnut bridge on it.
