Written somewhat accidentally when fooling around with a looping pedal. The A and B parts are melodic variations over the same progression (that was looping).

This non-trad number was inspired by the drum beat and overall feel of the Meter's funk classic "Cissy Strut"

Inspired by the beautiful drive through the Cascade Mountains on the way to play the Darrington (WA) Bluegrass Festival w/ the High 48s. I feel very honored to have Randy Kohrs on resophonic guitar and Mike Compton on mandolin on this track. Randy really tears it up on his break!
