The "7;" means I have a capo on gCGCE tuning at the seventh fret. That should put it in the key of G, but I think it ended up somewhere between the keys of Ab and A. I sped up a little bit, which is a weakness I have at present. It's more like rural jug-band music than anything old-time. I offer this just as an example of what I'm trying to do in the clawhammer style.

I put this together for a charity event for the big earthquake in Japan. This is only one chorus of the tune, which I sent out to some friends before the event. It's in triple C (gCGCC). I like to think of it as kind of like "Doc Boggs meets Charley Patton".
