Three jigs recorded in a concert at the Carolan Harp festival Workshop concert in Keadue in 2009. The first two jigs are two of my own composition, and the third is a fine jig written by the great accordion player Bobby Gardiner.

Five reels by the great composer Ed Reavy- Maudebawn chapel, love at the endings, the shoemakers daughter, fishermans Island and the hunters lodge. Five great banjo reels, again recorded for a pupil, but i decided to stick it up here as well.

These are three jigs I recorded to email to a pupil. They're a bit slow for a recording, and I'd probably play them a decent bit faster usually, but the point of teaching these jigs is to teach the pupil how to move smoothly between strings, because tommy peoples' likes his tunes to swoop and soar. I hope you like them.
