This is a song written by m friend, the late Bernie Martin. It is the first of Bernie's songs that I ever heard. Al Kirby and I recorded it on our Sittin' In The Kitchen CD. The late Zeke Mazurek played the fiddle, Al played the banjo and I played guitar and sang. The minor run that starts the song is one I learned when I was in high school from either an Ian & Sylvia record or a Joan Baez record (I think).
