I recorded this Stephen Foster tune on one of my freshly strung H.C. Dobson inspired banjo models as an audio preview to its current owner - AKA Mr. Physics55

This version of Darlin Corey will be on the newly recorded Lazy John CD yet to be released. It's a really dark version that fuses the fiddle part of Raleigh and Spencer in the instrumental with the more common Darlin Corey vocal. Hopefully the OT Police will let it slide.

A rip roarin' stringband rendition of two classic appalachian tunes. Greasy Coat - a popular tune in fiddle circles and Sandy Boys - learned from Eden Hammons. This set features Luke Mercier on fiddle and Matt Ray on Banjo backed by Shane Crumb - mandolin, Derrick Tompkins - guitar and Tim Hadley on double bass.

I recently recorded this version of Mole In The Ground with "Lazy John" whom I've been playing with on a regular basis up here in Hastings County Ontario Canada for the past three years. It features myself on fiddle/lead vocal, Shane Crumb (mandolin), Derrick Tompkins (guitar), Matt Ray (banjo) and Tim Hadley (bass).

A truly great gem! Maybe you're all sick of it by now but it sure is fun to play! Besides, it always gets the crowd going. I think 'Lazy John' do a fine job of it! Dedicated to Tommy & Fred who will continue to inspire beyond the rest of our days.

This is my take on The Lost Indian performed on one of my own Handmade instrumets. Flushfret 243 can be viewed at my website along with many other fine instruments.
