This is a studio recording of the ebbe ring to show total tonal response. However this demo doesn't completely represent the full sustain of this banjo. This is the exact same banjo as the other files I've posted on here. The only difference is the strings. The other two files are using D'Aquisto brand strings. The guages I believe are 9 10 12 20 9. I'm not exactly sure what strings I was playing on these cuts. I do know that they were at least a month old so that may very well account for the difference I'm bringing to attention.

This is a jam session at my house back in November of 09. I'm sorry for all the banter at the beginning of the song. I know little about editing these things. This is a small demo of the ebbe tone ring in the key of B to show exactly how true this ring really is. I appologize to all of you who have been waiting quite a while for me to get these files on here. I've had a heck of a time with it. I made a mountain out of an ant hill basically.

Again the ebbe ring in G to show the trueness of its nature. I will have studio cuts on here shortly. Hope this will satisfy some of the curriosity. I think this banjo sounds like the 3 Ron Stewart used to have. I have played & recorded with Ron's 3 and I honestly do believe the 5 I'm playing on here is as good if not better than Ron's.
