Vega Style N

Hey pickers, I have a great  circa 1896 Lyon & Healy short neck five string which I love, but I am now ready to bring my Dad's old Vega Style N tenor back to life.  The skin head is cracked and the bridge and strings are gone,  but rest is in great shape considering it has been sitting a long time. I took it to a luthier shop who kept it six months and never worked on it so I am thinking of tackling this on my own.  Any advice on best skin heads and bridges, and where to purchase them would be most appreciated.
