just a big bluegrass fan. I'm a guitar picker too (from the begining) but I 've had a realy hard "teaching myself" bluegrass banjo. I have just " teach youreselfe bluegrass banjo" book by Tony Trishka.-and no one to help me.There was may be 3 or 4 banjo picker in Slovenia at the time !!?? I don't know how to read music ,and no music school, just my ear for music- and that works !! I make my own solos of well known tunes ,?couse I don't wanna imitate nobody !!And it's refreshing too !!?? So I use tablature just for basic concept, the rest is my improvisation.
