I grew up in the Dallas area playing folk an old-time music with my parents and brothers. Later lived in Portland, Oregon, Greensboro NC, Philadelphia and Austin. I worked for a humanitarian service organization for many years and later went into software. I've played off-an-on all my life and am recently rediscovering the banjo and my old repertoire.
