I am a reporter and writer living in Lawrence, Kansas, a midwestern mecca of bluegrass and old-time music. A few years back I realized that no one had written a book of banjo humor, as far as I could tell. Since then I have been writing original material about the banjo, collecting some of the best existing banjo jokes, and working on illustrations. The result is "Pickin' on the Banjo: The Original Banjo Jokebook."
