Fender 30 deluxe

Friday, August 23, 2013

Im an owner of a fender 30 deluxe, i think it has a great tone absolutely wonderful and has pretty woodwork. I i can figure somthing out. I spent 400$ on it and it worked great for a month. I keep it in a hard case and guard it well. But the fifth string started rubing the fifth fret and the third gets soft on the 8th fret. Then the fifth string gear box went out. I take care of my banjos. I would near faint to see one dropped.(exadurating but you get the point). Does anyone know whats going on and could tell me how to fix it. P.S. the bridge is approppaitely set and i dont tune it too tight. 3 comments

Born into a musical family in Arkansas i have learned many things about music. I am a proud southerner and Arkansan and play music to reflect that. Im a historian and love all kinds of music. Even some music that can be over a thousand years old. I believe that through out human history despite language and conflict, music has held us humans together mentaly, and physically. We have used our music in worship to Jehovah God, and Jesus Christ. I chose to play the banjo because frankly it's me. Ive played it since i was a child, and will till i die. It is jolly, can change its mood without pushing a pedal and has a certian lure that i cannot discribe. It has to be for me at leat one of the most human instruments of all time. I have had a struggle to play it being near toatally blind. And with majior hearing loss.(ironic) But im a stubourn fella so i was patient and got good at it. I will make improvements and will help others if i can.its really in a nutshell. But thats me.
