This post is relative to an old archive discussion endeavoring to estimate production numbers. Interesting how variable these instruments were in regard to scale size, pot size and trim elements. I am herein adding info on a previously unreported instrument I have possessed for several years. It has standard WL pearl inlays and carved heel. Original bump case. For some reason I have always thought it was circa 1904. If anyone has comments I am listening.
serial number: 22821
head diameter: 11"
scale length: 27

John and Paul kept bugging me to play exactly like Elmore. I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to do my own thing. So I quit the band and went off on my own. Today-- I work at a gas station in Newark. The rest is history. Never look back. Never be ashamed of whatever it is you are.
