I am wondering if there exists a type of support device for banjos similar to what classical guitarists use to support their instruments or if any of the guitar supports could be adapted for a banjo (Tappert ErgoPlay, Murata for example). I have a young student who can hardly hold up her instrument and therefore her left hand can't maneuver satisfactorily to place her fingers--it's too engaged with trying to hold up the neck. Her neck strap is still loose after adjusting it as short as it will go. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
