Hello banjo gurus :)
I'm a complete beginner and am hoping for some of your experienced insight to assist with a dilemma!
I've wanted to get started on the banjo for months now, but due to a lot of travel with work I've never committed to buying one (although I did a ton of research on the model thought would most suit me - Goldtone AC-5 Composite).
I'm now packing in the job to do some ACTUAL travelling, which means I'll have the time to get started on a banjo...but I can't help but feel that travelling around with a full sized banjo would be difficult (I have some mobility problems as it is), however, learning on a travel banjo doesn't seem to be ideal either given the differences in key...
So that is my dilemma. All I know is that I really really want to get started on the banjo! And wise words you might have would be hugely appreciated.
