I have been playing guitar since I first met one as a teenager. I am primariily a finger picker with an interest in folk, country, and old-time bluegrass gospel. I write songs (but none that you've heard of), teach a guitar class at church, and enjoy getting together and playing with other folks. A former college English teacher and marketing & public relations professional, I currently work as a realtor in Spartanburg, SC. I am also an avid reader of almost anything, although I prefer contemporary fiction. My goal on the banjo is to be half as good as my friend, Donnie Durham (aka fivestring9).
