I have been using a metronome with good success. However, I have been using it as one note per click. This was OK untill I exceeded 180-200 clicks/notes per minute as I cann't hear if I am in time or not above these speeds. Not to mention that my metronome's top speed is 250. I have tried to increase my notes per click to two or four and that way a setting of say 60 would equal a BPM of 120/240. But, without the 1/1 click to pick I started with, how do I know if I'm playing the desired speed and keeping time?
