Any and all "extra long neck" banjo (Pete Seeger type) enthusiasts: Bought an extra long neck Goldtone from a friend several years ago and stashed it away for the day I could spend the time to actually learn to play it. That day has arrived. But, in resetting the bridge, I realized that the bridge itself was curved...not straight across like my plectrum bridge. What gives? Every picture of extra long necks I've looked at on line have had straight bridges. Figuring averages, I positioned the center of the curved bridge at the appropriate measurement from the 15th fret (in my case. 13"). It sounds fine, but figured I'd check with some experts. Thanks for any comments/advise!
