Hello friends of Banjo Long time i`m a friend of banjo listening. Before seven years my lovely wife bought me a banjo to my birthday. Then i was looking for a teacher and i called a lot of music schools, but nobody could teach bluegrass banjo, just tenor banjo! 4 years later i met, by a city festival, my neighbour Beat, as i lived with my parents as i was a child. Then we talked about what we do now and whats our profession and our hobbbies. Then he told me that he is playing banjo!:)) Then i ask him 5string or tenor, and he give me the answer, no 5string, bluegrass! Cool! i asked him immediately: Would you like to teach me playing banjo? And he said: Yes, why not! Now i found an old friend and a big 5-string banjo-fan. Two times i went to him to learn playing with this wonderful instrument. But i had always a lot of action because i also was a president of a shooting club. Then i stopped learning but i never forget my banjo and Beat. And this spring, we see us again, and now i finished my job as president and i have the time to learn playing a banjo. Since then, i drill maybe every day picking. I`m very happy to do that, and Beat is a very good teacher; thank you very much banjobeat63, i am very proud! My own destination of this year is to playing slowly the foggy mountain breakdown, but thats gone be very hard! So thats it. Best regards marcellus
