I'm hoping someone with more knowledge than me can help me with a few questions. I have a B&D Senorita banjo that was my fathers. he was an amazing musician and his favorite was his banjo. TRUE STORY: he lived in Chicago in the 30's and 40's, and use to play in a club downtown. Some of you may remember who Danny Thomas was . anyways he used to come and listen to my dad play. one night after close and a few drinks the banjo ended up in the street and was run over by a car. so he could not play for awhile. Danny Thomas found him and when he heard the story he went out and bought my dad the banjo I have now. where can i find markings like a serial #, or what kind it is other than the name . it's very heavy. i would like to get some more info. on it if I can.
