I have just bought an old banjo which is in need of some TLC. I wondered if anyone could tell me where to go for spare parts - bridge, strings, heel support., which are all missing. Would they be able to tell me what to buy if a supplier is found? Would someone have to make the bridge and heel support or could it be bought off the shelf? How do I know what strings to put on?
It is an English banjo made by J.H. Ebblewhite, 485 Aldgate Street, London.
In other member's opinions, would it costs a lot to repair, is it worth repairing and bringing back to life? Would it be worth anything once repaired?
Would really appreciate some help!
