I picked up and taught myself guitar at fifteen, and only just now purchased my first banjo. Interested in learning how to "pick and grin", because my guitar playing is mostly just rhythm. I really enjoy learning how music fits into our stories of history and culture. My husband, Mike, a Vietnam vet, is a much better guitarist than I am, and we'd love finding friends to make music with occasionally. Our tiny country church is always welcoming to visiting musicians as well. Mike and I offer music there about twice monthly, and would be happy to bring along others.
