High quality Bluegrass Banjo Plans

I've been wanting to try to build a quality bluegrass banjo, but most of the plans I've seen appear to be based on basic parts thrown together.  Does anyone know of a source for construction plans that would produce a banjo that would rival some of the better ones made?  Thanks.
