Martin E-1, Recording King RK R25
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
I primarily listen to country music and like artists such as Chris Stapleton. I also enjoy bluegrass and have always been a Ricky Skaggs fan and a Bela Fleck fan. Other than several Scruggs songs, which everyone has heard. I'm looking forward to learning about other greats and their music.

I have played the guitar for 40 plus years. I even owned a banjo back in the 70s but only learned chords on my own and strummed it like my guitar. Over the last 20, I have played less and less and my skills have diminished (I was never a good guitar player but could keep a rhythm and I could sing). For some unknown reason, I got the strong urge to pick up playing the banjo. I have always loved the sound of the banjo and admired those who could really play one. So, I pulled the trigger and bought a starter banjo, RK R25. I plan on doing what I can to learn this instrument.
