Hi,
I have recently been given a Banjo, which has been passed down through the family. As i have no knowledge of Banjo's I wondered if any of you experts could fill in some of gaps!
The Banjo was bought in Manchester, England approx 100 years ago from a Musical store called H Emmet musical instruments. The make of the Banjo is J.S. Dallas maker, it's 4 string, G-string. We still have the case for it, though a little battered around the edges.
If any of you know anymore about this kind of banjo, I would be intrigued to find out more about it.
