I play music and make images on a constant basis. After being rescued from a foster home in Brooklyn, I was raised by a group of Irish immigrants. My old man listened to the Dubliners and watched Hee-Haw. That's where the banjo began for me. When the Marine Corps sent me to Okinawa for a year, I made the mistake of leaving my banjo in the states. That was the longest stretch of time away from the banjo since I began playing. Now, I am a session musician here in NYC. For me, playing music is like talking with God.
