Hey i am Jason Fuhrmann.
born and raised in southeastern wisconsin, im 22 and have been pickin' the banjo since i got my driver's license. As a matter of fact im STILL pickin the same 2 banjo's i learned on. I need to step up my quality of instrument to im thinkin a good jamming/bonfire setting deering banjo, the goodtime! i have a wide variety of hobbies and i am an advocate for trading within the community. My loss is your gain, Maybe some great person will help me gain what it takes to grow with pickers of all ages by sacrificing their knowledge and good fortune with me. I need a new banjo, im not rich and i dont want a $1200 gold studded tenor from 1962...I need simply a good sounding banjo which stays in tune for longer than a 5 minute jam. I have the fire burning inside me, which makes me certain ill be pickin the banjo till the day i die. at first i was not in a hurry to progress, now its time. Please feel free to gimme your 2 cents whenever it fits in my quest for knowledge. i might only be 22 but i do know who made glen cambell famous with the song "gentle on my mind." John Hartford, thank you for you are in my opinion bob dylan's optimistic brother. somebody please bless me with intangible and tangible items within our bluegrass community. free banjo's accepted! im a well rounded landscaper / caretaker and will work for a chance to get my feet wet with sound hooks and graceful licks.
