Wm A. Pond Banjo Mod: Ruby

Tuesday, April 17, 2012

I have a Wm A. Pond 5 String Banjo. I know very little about it except it is in very good condition. I am in the process

of replacing some parts that were missing when I acquired it. I would like any info from anyone who has a source of information.

The only thing I can find out is that  Wm A. Pond was an instrument maker in the 19th century, in New York. He made

pianos and pump organs, but also made some guitars and banjos.

Does anyone know about these banjos?

Thanks

Jerry
