I've played the guitar sence the mid 70's. and was given a banjo for Christmas in 1983.  I broke a string on it soon after.  so it just sat in my closet in it's case untill a few weeks ago.  I don't know why I decided to pick it up. but i'm glad I did, i wish I had done it years ago.  Is it just me or is the Banjo alot more dificult to play than the guitar.  i'm working on Hal Leonards Method book 1.  it's going to take a while to figure this thing out.  It's goint to be fun. 2 comments
