Hello,
I'm new to this forum and banjo. I just picked up this Slingerland Tenor Banjo for practically nothing off of Craigslist.
It was not playable at first. With a little tweaking it is up and running. The most significant thing I had to do was shim the neck.
The serial # is 345.
What do the 3 stars mean on the inside of the head? I believe the name is the seller's. Is that correct? However, I can not make out the name.
Any info is greatly appreciated.
