Well I,ve been pickin for 6 years, not exactly where I wished I would be. I guess that is probably the same for most of us. My friends that I play with, moved back to the city, so we can play a lot more often. We have played at several events, I really enjoy those, but still get so nervous. Lately I have been trying to use the upper neck a little more, & sing while pickin, instead of changing to guitar.

Married, 55 year old guy. I have played guitar off & on most of my life (more off than on). I have always loved the banjo, & started jan 07, never had so much fun. I love playing with others, but can still do a heck of alot more with my guitar. I guess it takes time. In my spare time I love fishing & boating, I could, fish all day & pick all night. If only I didn't have to work.
