well ive big interest in the clancy brothers, i have a load of old LP's, but i do like old time musicians such as Dave macon, Charlie poole, David holt and love all ken perlmans stuff.
i could sing some of woody guthries tunes all day.
some irish interest include the Waterboys, luke kelly, van the man, chieftans, paul brady and Liam clancy.

learned 5-string banjo over a few years, kept trying to learn it , eventually with a lot of help, i settled on old time, both up picking and down. im partial to jigs as im from ireland and also learning reels. my mission is to develop a broad range of styles. if anybody could teach me either charlie pooles 3 finger style or dave macons id appreciate it. slan Ciarán.
