This 5-string slingerland nite hawk was a gift in 1968 from Charlie Pickard of the Pickard Family, who was a close friend of my family.
The instrument the has spent most of the last 40 years in it's case (de-tuned) and is in the same condition as when I received it, except that one leg of the grover "non-tip" bridge is broken. Note the original Oettinger pat. pend. tailpiece, the cord strap, and 10th fret nail.
