I received a Christmas card in December of 1961 from the Whiskey Hill Singers. On the front was a picture of the group and the words "Happy Holidays from the Whiskey Hill Singers" ( it wasn't The Whiskeyhill Singers as they were more commonly known as). Inside all four of them signed their names: Dave Guard, Judy Henske, Cyrus Faryar and Vic Bacigalupi. What I am curious about is- who is Vic Bacigalupi? He has an eye patch over his right eye in the photo on the front. I thought David "Buck" wheat was the fourth member. I have never heard of Vic Bacigalupi. In fact I can't find anything about him on the internet or anywhere. Could this have been the ORIGINAL group before the addition of Wheat? I don't know what to think...it's a mystery to me. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks. Gary D. Lemen, DDS

Bought first banjo in 1959, Vega Folk Ranger Special. Second banjo, Gibson Mastertone hybrid in 2005. Interested in bluegrass, newgrass, Celtic, classical and goofin' around styles. Also interested in building 5-string banjos and guitars. Been playing around off and on since 1959, just now getting serious.
