I am an Army Vet. last assignment was the 545th MP Co, 1st Cavalry Division, Ft. Hood, TX. I am now a Paramedic at Northfield, MN. I started playing in 2004 with the help of my freind Hank Nieland (Kegan Creek), who let me use HIS banjo for about 6 or 8 months when I bought my own. Thank you Hank. but, 2006 was not good to me and I could play hardly at due to some problems, Jan, Hernia repair #1, Apr, Hernia repair #2, July, Motorcycle crash, (broken arm w/surgery, Dec, Back went out (due to MC crash), Apr.07 back surgery. Now I playing again (poorly) between school work. I have a great family, Wife and 6 (SIX) kids. 5 still at home. I would love to play like Earl Scruggs, Bella Fleck, Steve Martin.
