Lived and breathed old time music mostly through local festivals and contra dances as a young person, then came family and career, now last several years I am happily immersed again in the banjo. I have a small workshop which began as an infirmary for my own old time instruments, and now am helping out with small banjo repairs, etc. for others. In addition, our family band "Backwards Hats" performs contemporary folk music employing acoustic finger style guitar, melodic clawhammer banjo and blended vocal harmonies to achieve a unique signature style. We have so much fun sharing our music !
