I started playing banjo in 1989 My first one was a really cheap $50 kingston aluminum pot banjo. Moved up to a washburn that I played for 4 or 5 years, then finally got a 1978 RB 250 Gibson that I still play regularly. I currently play in 2 bands, switching from banjo to dobro depending on the speed of the tune. I enjoy writing songs, recording, playing venues and just jamming
