Hi
I'm starting to learn Foggy Mountain Breakdown on the banjo. I always thought that there was only one way to play it. When I get on You Tube, I find that there is more than one way people play it. Does it matter how you play it as long as it sounds like Foggy Mountain Breakdown? Is there and easy way and an advanced way to play it?
Thanks for anything you can tell me.
Dick

I've played guitar for most of my life. I've been in a band once. I've played for weddings. My wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas. As a joke I told her I wanted a banjo. She got me one. I thought it wouldn't be much of a challenge because I play guitar. I was very wrong. There's a lot to play a banjo. It's become one of my favorite challenging toys. I really enjoy playing now.
