Just moved to Hawaii from western NC. Since 2011, been playing a washtub bass like an upright bass, playing in bands for contra/squaredances. Won 1st place bass at the 2012 Johnson County TN Fiddler's Convention and placed 2nd at the 2012 Hoppin' John Old Time Convention.
