I have a basic beginners Ozark which is okay. My main banjo is a 1920s banjo made in Birmingham England. I love it!
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
I write my own stuff, but I love Joanna Newsome, Broken Social Scene, Bit o'classical, early American music, especially Sacred Harp Singing.

I discovered the banjo at Frieze Art fair in London, October 2007, I saw my first live banjo player and man if I could meet that guy again I'd kiss him. Dunno who he was but if you visit www.youtube.com/daveyrhodes and look at the video "mystery banjo player" you can see him in all his glory. I play mostly clawhammer but I'm partial to a bit of bluegrass as well. You don't get many banjo players in this part of the world but hell I'm so proud to be one of them!!!!
