I'm a guitar tech rebuilding an old 1910 Windsor for a friend. The head needs to be replaced. it is 9 inches wide. I'm not sure where I can find one and I'm not sure if I buy one that is 11 or 12 inches can I trim it down? Photos online look like the head comes with a rim already. Not sure. What is a good source?
