Interests:
[Teaching] [Socializing] [Helping]

Occupation: Full TimeBanjo Picker/Retired Medical Sales Rep

Gender: Male
Age: 70

My Instruments:
I'm down to just five banjos now. I've got a Huber TrueTone Granada pot with a Frank Neat Flying Eagle neck, a Style 5 Wreath DeLuxe built by Frank Neat with an original 40 hole archtop tone ring.
I also have a Style 4 with Dannick 20 hole flathead ring, all parts chrome plated, with excellent Ronnie Bales Flying Eagle neck, a Huber TrueTone Style 3 pot with a Frank Neat wreath neck, and finally a 1954 RB 100. All are outstanding and stage worthy banjos.

Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Earl, JD Crowe, Sonny Osborne, Don Reno. There are many great banjo players out there today, but these guys blazed the trail for the rest of us to follow

I actually did come from Alabama with a banjo on my knee. In 2000, I moved to Middle Tennessee from Birmingham. I'm the leader of a great group called Craig Morris & KING COTTON. Check us out on our FB page. Back in Birmingham between 1976 and 1985 I played in the band on an early morning TV show called the Country Boy Eddie Show, broadcast live every morning on WBRC TV 6. I was also the bandleader for a popular Alabama bluegrass group called LICKETY SPLIT which performed for over thirty years across the southeast US.. I currently teach banjo lessons in Spring Hill, TN and keep myself entertained by playing the five string merrywang.
