What is the significance of a twisted banjo neck? I have read articles about repairing warps and bowing, but what if the neck is twisted to the left (toward the 1st string) The banjo in question is a Regal Long Neck open-back. The twist is not dramatic but it is noticeable. It is as if, over time, the pressure and pull of the left hand so far up and away from the body has distorted the neck up by the nut. The twist extends down about 3-4 frets which is a long ways on the long neck style.
Any advice would be appreciated.
