Started singing in church before I can even remember. I've always sung. Took piano lessons at age five, learned to play by ear by age 7, and starting learning to play boogie woogie. Started on guitar at age 12. Had rock bands from 9th grade through sophomore year at college. I remembered listening with Dad to bluegrass songs when I was young and watching all the TV bluegrass shows. I liked it. I picked up the banjo at age 47 (too late it seems). Started the Stateline Bluegrass band in 2002. It's getting better all the time. Retirement is right around the corner. Can't wait.
