I'm one of the lucky ones. I got my first banjoe when I was twelve. There were two older gentlemen in my town that were good pickers and helped me out alot. When I was fourteen I met another bluegrass enthusiest who took me to many festivals over the next two years. I am now 49 years old and play alot of gospel bluegrass. I'm also on a mission to change the way "banjo" is spelled to always have an "e" on the end. This has been on my IL. licence plates since 1982. My list of banjoes is as follows: Prarie no tone ring Alvarez not sure of the model name 1976 Ode style "c" 1980 Gibson RB3 1991 The Banjoe Hand made by Steve Gill 2010 Beautiful and Unique
