I started playing music when i started piano when i was a kid. I then wanted to play the guitar and did that for a while but I never really enjoyed either. In 2011 my dad encouraged me to try the banjo. I LOVED it, and i am still learning and hope to become a professional banjo player. I want the Banjo to be looked on as a professional American instrument and not a hillbilly/ deliverance/clown's instrument because I believe it is so much more.
