Hi all being new I'll probably need to buy the beer.
I picked up a 1919 ( learned serial numbers from reading the blogs even though discussion was around Orpheum #1. My serial number for this Orpheum #2 is under inside rim Patented 724833
It came without a bridge and from what I have gathered belonged to a CT musician .
I seek to learn what armrest to use along with what bridge as it is missing the bridge.
I found these Martin V720 Vega Banjo Strings - 4-string Tenor and wonder which bridge to use.
How do the strings attach on the tailpiece? Do I need to buy a tail piece plate as well?
I have a few guitars but never looked at banjo's till this one
Thanks all for any help as I want to put it back together right. The case is disintegrated somewhat and think I should have one that fits the resonator that came with it.
