I developed a unique procedure to electronically voice every aspect of a banjos total sum of parts electronically. My system takes into account the density & absorbtion/reflection rate of the wood in the rim, neck, bridge, ring composite, tailpiece angle & string guage at any window of head tension. I've had banjos shipped to me to be electronically voiced on from every state in the Unites States, Great Britian, Canada, Australia & Japan. I take great pride in my work as it's my passion & my customer service is second to none in the business. As part of my customer services, I also will "tweak" a banjo that I've setup for a period of three years at No Charge for a period of three years, provided that the customer does not alter the setup work. No one else in the business does anything like this to my knowledge. If a customer can't come by the shop, all my setups require to keep them peaked on the window is one eight of a turn per year, (the width of a flat side of a nut) turn on every hook nut once per year. I'm extremely proud to say that I have a string endorsement from GHS Strings, to my knowledge, I'm the only "setup person" that is not a professional player to achieve this notoriety from IMHO the finest string company in the industry. I build my Legend banjos as time permitts inbetween setup work. I can build them in array of spectrums in tone/timbre to satisfy the most discriminating banjo players if a good description is given to me. I draw on my years of experience through voicing banjos electronically & critical attention of detal in knowing what type tone ring composites work with what body of wood/rims to achieve that "certain" sound that is sought after by my customers/clients. I've been blessed to do work that I have an undying passion for, a loving, understanding wife of 25 years & an 11 year old son that taught me what live/love is all about.
